Wordless weeks~
Hi all, it’s been a while since I’ve had much time to write anything. After long days of work, packing to move, it doesn’t seem like there was much to say. Life has been very busy with getting ready to move. We finally got the septic approved, instead of repairs to the old system we are having to replace the old system with a new one, more expenses! But I’m getting excited and feeling stressed at the same time. I haven’t move in 28 years, there’s a life time of items to be packed . Since we are down sizing I have to decide what I can keep. One of the hardest rooms to sort out is the office. For several years now the farms office has been located in the house, there’s lots of office equipment that I no longer need, I can sell these items, but the farms files need to be stored until some future date, these will live in the attic for now.
For those of you that don’t know, we sold the farm and we have a life time lease to live on the property.
The piece that was sold our oldest daughter Heather and her family live on, so we are in the process of selling our current home that is on the other half of the farm that we still own to Heather and family. We are going to put in a new house where she is currently living. It’s all rather confusing to say the least, but in the end it all works out for us. Her family has grown and they need a bigger house, Dude and I are looking forward to a smaller house to maintain and less yard work!! This weekend, more boxing .

½ c. Green Pepper, diced
1 can Sliced Water Chestnuts

½ Teaspoon Salt
1 Teaspoon Season Salt
2 Teaspoon Corn Starch to thicken with
Bring the sauce to a low boil, turn down to med-low heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes, add the corn starch to thicken. While the sauce is cooking make the meat balls. Place meat balls in a fry pan, cook on med-high heat until browned. Once the sauce has simmered add the meat balls and cook for another 5 minutes.
Serve over crunchy Chinese noodles or steamed rice.
This recipe is a family favorite and takes about 30 minutes to prepare.
Enjoy.

TGIF~
Tonight grandson #1 is going to stay over, its been a custom of his mother's to make homemade pizza on Friday nights and have a movie, so that's what we're going to do. Pizza night for Dude and I is usually on a Saturday, I have more time to get the dough and items I need prepared. There is not better than a fresh homemade pizza, except maybe biscuts and gravy!

¼ tea. Salt
½ tea. Baking soda
1 tea. Vanilla extract
1 large egg
1 ¾ c. Flour
1 package of chocolate kisses
Place cookie in the refrigerator to cool while preparing the dough. Preheat oven to 375ยบ.
Mix together butter, peanut butter, brown sugar, salt, soda, vanilla extract. Now mix in the egg and flour. Place the dough into the barrel of a cookie press fitted with a flower disk. Remove the cookie sheet from the refrigerator and place a silpat mat or a sheet of parchment on it. This will keep the cookies from sticking to the baking sheet. Press the cookies on the baking mat or sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until set. Remove from the oven and place a chocolate kiss in the center of each cookie. Cool. Makes about 6 dozen cookies.

Camara~
I'm so excited!!! I love taking pictures and haven't had a camara (a digital one that is) that takes the quality of pictures that I want until now. I am the proud new owner of a Nikon D3000. It came with 2 lens and I can't wait to see what I will do. H has a different Nikon that she purchased last year and it takes fantastic pictures.
